St. Mark's Church is a busy and vibrant Anglican Parish Church.
We are a friendly and informal congregation, actively and prayerfully seeking ways to reach out and be a light in our surrounding community.

A statement from the Bishop of Hull’s office.
“The Reverend Michael ‘Mike’ Cansdale, Team Rector of Keighley in in the Diocese of Leeds, has been appointed Vicar of The Benefice of Newby St Mark and the Benefice of Scarborough St Luke.
Mike will be instituted by the Bishop of Hull at 7.00pm on Wednesday 24July, 2024 in the Parish Church of St Luke, Scarborough.”
